Hello, as ever long time no write, hope you've been well. All things are good here in Jackdaw Towers just a little manic as projects are coming to a close & I can share new work with you.
The big thing for me to share this month is I am now stocked in the fabulous Heath & Harebell in Haworth this lovely little store is jam packed with gorgeous goodies from Yorkshire. As it's in Haworth you will not be surprised that the store has a Bronte/literary theme. The store's name is inspired by the last line of Wuthering Heights by Emily Bronte.
I received a lovely commission to create some book art for the new window - Jane the store manager had sourced some brilliant books with fabulous covers although this did leave me with a slight headache as I couldn't leave the book flat as you wouldn't see the lovely cover or reverse of the book?!? After a few trial runs I created this fabulous piece I am so pleased with the finished article and so were my clients
I created some beautiful lights, baubles & harebells for the window too. There are a few snaps on Instagram of these.
So if you are in Haworth do dip in they are on Main Street & it is ably managed by the lovely Jane of Little boxes of Happiness. They are open 7 days a week.
